OBJECTIVE
The objective was to create a San Francisco boutique that could exist in the current shopping climate. This boutique should align with the target audience's needs, while also differentiating from competitors. Deliverables for this project include harmonious branding, web design, stationery, signage, & other deliverables.
APPROACH
Patina Cutlery is a San Francisco-based knife shop that caters to professional chefs & home cooks of all backgrounds. Patina is run by a crew of chefs who sell second-hand knives, instruct workshops, & sharpen your knives. The goal was to design a contemporary visual system that will visually compare to the traditional approach many shops have. I took a lot of inspiration from aged knives that I have collected through my prior occupation as a line cook.
