OBJECTIVE
For 250 years, Veuve Clicquot, a champagne label inspired by the optimistic spirit of Madame Clicquot, has shared its sunny culture with the world. In tandem, they align themselves with Magnum Photography.
Together, they announce Emotions of the Sun, a touring photographic celebration of the Sun. Eight renowned photographers from around the globe have been tasked with capturing the Sun’s influence in 40 new photographs, each a unique expression of its power.

We were tasked to create a gallery space in New York City to go in tandem with their Milan Exhibition.
APPROACH
We wanted to make viewers feel like they are warmed by the sun while adding brevity to the experience. This was achieved with various hues of yellow, open windows with a lot of natural light and sheer fabrics that naturally swayed. Graphically, we kept it light touch but intentional in terms of placement of information, photographs and contemporary type style.
